Without going into too many details, here is our baby story. . .
Being a first year teacher we knew there was a small window of opportunity to welcome our bundle of joy without interfering with school. Ready to expect a baby in June, I started "planning" what our holiday announcement cards would look like. I waited 3 extra days to take the test . . . "not pregnant" The next morning I had a visitor. Sadly, October was not our lucky month. :(
Then, November rolled around. This time I was determined not to take a test too soon. { although really it wasn't
too soon in October, my body was just stubborn. } Either way I waited and was going to wait until we got home from Thanksgiving Break. However, on Thanksgiving when I wasn't enjoying an evening in the hot tub { just in case } I was bored and decided to take a test . . . 2 lines!!! With 3 sticks at my disposable I took another test . . . 2 more lines! I wrapped up the tests and surprised Jon in the morning with an early Christmas gift. :)
{ Some Already Knew . . . }
The day after I was supposed to have my period, Jon received a text message from his younger sister informing us that she had a dream we were pregnant. Determined not to rejoice until the test, my only response was "I wish . . ."
After announcing our pregnancy to Jon's family, his brother in New York informed us that he had a dream in November that we were pregnant . . . his wife then proceeded to inform us she has known for months. :)
Finally, while I was at a baby shower just days after taking the test . . . my dear friend's sister was convinced I was pregnant . . . no symptoms, not showing, nothing. Wow!
